Join "Take My Word for It!" for a Mother-Daughter Creative Writing Adventure at The Hub Berkeley!
Spend an afternoon leaping into your imagination and swimming around in your creativity!
Our adventure with pencil and paper for mothers and their daughters will lead both of you to little-explored places and give you the satisfaction that comes from creating something new. (For children 8-12 years-old.)
Since 2005, "Take My Word For It!" has been offering after-school and community-based creative writing programs throughout the Bay area. Check us out in Oakland Magazine:
$99 is the cost of registration for one mother/daughter team. A second child is $50. There is a 10% discount for Hub members. If the workshop is cancelled due to low enrollment there will be a full refund. Otherwise, we apologize but there are no refunds provided. We also welcome grandmothers and granddaughters, aunts and nieces, etc.. Want to bring a daughter who is 13 years old or older? Sondra Hall is the founder and Director of “Take My Word For It!”. Her inspiration as an artist-educator is fueled by her belief in the power of the written word to transform. She’s seen first hand that when kids’ and adults' imaginations are ignited, they are more engaged and enthusiastic about learning.
“Take My Word For It!” has been leading kids on word expeditions for the last 7 years through after school and community-based classes as well as summer camps throughout the Bay area, as well as in northern Virginia.
